3 chargesheeted in schoolboy murder case

The charge sheet was submitted to a magistrate court here yesterday.

The chargesheeted persons are Rajab Ali, his wife Jahanara Khatun and Abdul Hamid Bachha of village Joypatrakati in Kaligonj upazila.

In the charge sheet, investigation officer Sub Inspector Akkas Ali of Kaligonj thana observed that the accused had connived with each other and abducted Tohidul Islam, 13.

They killed him and cut the body into three pieces to take revenge on the victim's father for a previous enmity.

Tohidul Islam, 13, son of Dr Noor Mohammad of Joypatrakati village in Kaligonj upazila, was abducted on the night of March 13 by a group of miscreants.
