Death anniversary of Khan Saheb Afzal on Oct 27

A former civil servant, Muhammad Afzal died on this day in 1975 at his Naogaon residence at 82. He was conferred upon the title of Khan Saheb by the British government in 1934. He retired from the civil service in 1953.

He was also the founder-president of Naogaon Journalists' Association and associated with various social works.
