No uplift done in Mymensingh
Krishak Shramic Janata League (KSJL) founder president Bangabir Kader Siddiquee on Saturday said no development work was done in greater Mymensingh since independence due to lack of leadership.
He was addressing an Iftar party hosted by KSJL at Mymensingh Zila Parisad auditorium.
Presided over by the convenor of local unit of KSJL, Principal M Abdur Rashid, the meeting was addressed by, among others, former lawmaker and KSJL secretary Advocate Fazlur Rahman, party leaders Nazmul Hasan Talukder and Jatya Party (Ershad) district unit secretary Md Ali Asgar.
Advocate Fazlur Rahman criticised the BNP-led government for their utter failure in combating crime and fundamental forces which tarnished the country's image abroad. He alleged the leaders elected from greater Mymensingh with BNP or Awami League (AL) tickets are totally indifferent to development of the region.
