A different day for tiny tots

Held at in the at the Industrial School playground, it was organised by the Brahmanbaria Shishu Nattyan, a cultural organisation.

The school compound was alive with frisking children as over 800 tiny tots from different schools in the town attended the programme.

The programme was held under a big pandal, decorated with several hundred colourful paintings by children of the Shishu Nattyam and different schools.

The children enthralled the audience with Tagore and Nazrul songs, staged a drama titled Anandamoy Shikka (education with pleasure) and also displayed their skill in a hand writing competition.

The Shishu Nattyam organised the programme to encourage children in extra academic activities. Established in 1986, the Shishu Nattyam so far trained 3500 on painting, recitation, songs, dance and other cultural activities.
