Masum Billah abduction case: 4 chargesheeted

The Investigation Officer (IO) of the case, Abul Khair, a sub-inspector of the Detective Branch of police submitted the charge sheet before a magistrate's court here on Wednesday under Women and Children Repression Prevention Act of 2000.

The charge sheeted accused are Atiar Rahman Sheikh, son of Abdul Majed Sheikh and Idris Ali, son of Atiar Rahman of Dadpur village and Mostaq Ahmed Sheikh, son of Rahim Boksa of Mohandi village in Tala upazila and Matiar Rahman, son of Motaleb Molla of Shekhati village in Kotwali Police Station, Jessore.

Masum Billah, son of Asadul Bari of Dadpur village in Tala upazila was abducted by a group of criminals from his village home on April 18.
