Patradut Editor, 2 others sued

The district unit president of Jatiyatabadi Juba Dal, Abul Hasan Hadi filed the case with the court of magistrate Saidur Rahman for publishing a report titled, 'Heroin Gayeb,' on October 16 defaming him and the general secretary, Nasim Farooq Khan Mithu.

Patradut editor Lutfunnesa Begum, its executive editor Advocate Abul Kalam Azad and reporter Zillur Rahman were sued under Section 500, 501 and 502 of Bangladesh Penal Code.
