UPDF man held with firearms
An active member of the United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) was arrested with firearms in Maischhari area of Mahalchhari thana on Sunday.
On a tip-off, army personnel conducted a raid in the area and arrested Smritymoy Chakma alias Jibon,25. A SBBL gun, three rounds of bullets, five subscription books and important documents of UPDF were recovered from his possession.
Arrested Smritymoy confessed his involvement with the UPDF.
