Son kills parents before taking his own life

The dead were identified as Hazi Nizam Uddin, his parents Hazi Toraj Ullah, 105, and Hanifa Bibi, 80. Police recovered the bodies and a licensed gun from a room of their home.

Police quoting Mili Begum, daughter-in-law of Nizam, said she went to the ground floor after hearing gunshots and found Nizam, Toraj and Hanifa lying dead on the floor in a pool of blood. She also found the gun in Nizam's hand. Nizam was bullet hit in the head while the others were hit in the chest.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Mokles-ur-Rahman told journalists that after preliminary investigation they suspect Nizam might have killed his father and mother first, then killed himself.
