Satkhira Aug 17 blast cases sent to Khulna STT

The cases have been transferred as an order of the home ministry, court sources said.

On August 17, JMB militants blasted bombs at five points in Satkhita town at a time. The spots were Deputy Commissioner's office premises, court building, Shaheed Abdur Razzak Park, Sadar Hospital intersection and central bus terminal.

Soon after the incident, police arrested JMB activist Nasir Uddin Dafadar and Maniruzzaman Munna for their alleged involvement in the blasts.
