A busload of robbers

Your staff correspondent's front page report of 23rd. November titled “Heyday for robbers on bus” has terrified us. The bus was full with robbers disguised as passengers. The driver and the helper were also members of the gang. They robbed the other passengers during the 24-hour transport strike. They took away ATM cards of the passengers at gunpoint. The report makes it clear that this was done by urban and literate robbers, knowledgeable about ATM cards. Travellers now have to be aware of this new mode of robbing. The root cause of this incident is the dawn-to-dusk strike imposed by our indifferent political leaders. They only communicate with common people during election, which they avoid and boycott, when they are not sure of winning it.
