JS goes into session today

The 10th Jatiya Sangsad goes into its ninth session at 4:30pm today.

President Abdul Hamid convened the session on October 15 as per Article 72 (1) of the constitution.

The parliament secretariat has taken all preparations to this end, said sources.

On the first working day, the president will deliver his speech which was earlier endorsed by the cabinet.

Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury will preside over the House proceedings today.
