Ban unfit buses from city roads

Buses without tail lights should be removed from the roads of Bangladesh. The same applies to buses whose tail-lights do not function, and whose drivers do not use them. Due to their inability to provide a signal, cars behind them never know when they will stop and cars to the sides never know when the bus will use the diagonal cut-off manoeuvre. At night when these buses stop, they can neither be seen easily, nor can the waving hand of the guy who slaps the bus be seen. That vocation should become a thing of the past in Bangladesh. Bus drivers should be able to drive well enough to use their mirrors and safely enough to not need these fellows. I agree with the drive to make drivers pass a written test.
This photo should be sufficient to provide a confirming example. I suppose this driver was trying to give his bus a “make-over.” How in the world do these buses pass inspection? Their owners should be prosecuted. A few less of these on the roads would greatly ease traffic congestion. The same applies to buses with broken window glass.
