MTB inks MoU with Pragoti Industries

Mutual Trust Bank Ltd recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Pragoti Industries Ltd (PIL), a car assembling and car parts manufacturing company in Bangladesh.

Md Abul Kalam Azad, managing director of PIL, and Syed Mahbubur Rahman, managing director and CEO of the bank, inked the MoU at the MTB Tower on Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue in Dhaka, said a press release.

Under this MoU, the clients of Chattogram-based car assembling, and car parts manufacturing company will be able to avail auto loan from the bank.

MTB clients, likewise, will be entitled to buy vehicles with a special offer from PIL.

Among others, Haider Jahan Faras, joint secretary and director of the Bangladesh Steel & Engineering Corporation, Md Abdul Halim, in-charge of PIL regional office in Tejgaon, Md Shafquat Hossain, deputy managing director and head of retail banking division of the bank, Abdul Mannan, head of branch banking division, and Tahsin Shahid, head of retail new business, were present.
