NRB Bank, Astra Airways strike deal

NRB Bank Ltd recently signed an agreement with Astra Airways, a privately-owned airline.

Md Shaheen Howlader, deputy managing director of the bank, and Mohammad Mozammel Haque Bhuiya, head of marketing and sales at the airline, inked the deal at the former's corporate head office in Dhaka, said a press release.

Under the agreement, the bank's debit and credit cardholders will get a 10 percent discount facility on the base fare on domestic routes from the airline.

Mamoon Mahmood Shah, managing director and CEO of the bank, Khaja Wasiullah, in-charge of card division, AFM Rubayat-Ul Jannat, assistant general manager for brand marketing at the airline, and Md Shafiqul Hassan, head of strategic alliance, along with other officials from both organisations, were present.
