Chattogram stocks return to black

Most shares on the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) returned to the black today, breaking the losing streak for the fourth consecutive day.

The CASPI, the all-share price index of the bourse in the port city, rose 86 points, or 0.45 per cent, to 18,940 at 12:10pm. Turnover stood at Tk 7 crore.

On the CSE, 60 stocks advanced, 35 fell, and 81 were unchanged.
