Dhaka, Chattogram stocks inch up

The prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) edged up today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, added 3 points, or 0.04 per cent, to 6,370 at 11:30 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 409 crore.

Of the securities, 101 advanced, 89 declined and 147 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, inched up 4 points, or 0.02 per cent, to 18,795.

Of the issues, 49 rose, 56 retreated, and 44 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 5.7 crore at 11:35 am.
