DSE, CSE trade flat

The Dhaka and Chattogram bourses traded almost flat in the morning session today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), inched up 1 point, or 0.02 per cent, to 6,344 at 11:32 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 296 crore.

Of the securities, 87 advanced, 98 declined and 150 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), added 5 points, or 0.02 per cent, to 18,739.

Of the issues, 33 rose, 35 retreated, and 51 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 4.6 crore at 11:35 am.
