Bangladesh's GDP growth slows to 3.03% in Q2

The provisional gross domestic product (GDP) growth in Bangladesh slowed to 3.03 percent in the second quarter of the current fiscal year, compared to a revised 3.53 percent in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year, according to data from the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics.

The revised GDP growth in the first quarter (July-September) of the current fiscal year was 4.96 percent, while the growth rate stood at 3.91 percent in the first quarter of FY25.

The GDP was Tk 1,517,615 crore in the second quarter at current prices, up from Tk 1,390,147 crore in the same quarter of FY25.
