The 11th BAPA FoodPro International Expo 2026 will begin on Thursday at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka to showcase the latest advancements in food processing and packaging technologies.

The three-day event will run until September 12, remaining open to visitors from 10:00am to 7:00pm on September 10 and 11, and until 6:30pm on the final day.

The Bangladesh Agro-Processors’ Association (BAPA) and Rainbow Exhibition and Event Management Services Limited (REEMS) are jointly organising the exhibition, organisers announced at a press conference at the BAPA office in Dhaka today.

More than 200 brands from 27 countries -- including Bangladesh, China, India, Germany, Japan, the United States, and the United Kingdom -- will showcase over 4,000 technology and machinery solutions.

Exhibitors will feature technologies related to processing, filling, packaging, coding, quality inspection, cold chain, and logistics, with a key focus on AI-powered automation, robotics, and sustainable packaging.

Alongside the main exhibition, the Food Ingredients Bangladesh Expo 2026 will be held at the same venue, highlighting functional foods, nutraceuticals, alternative proteins, and sustainable ingredients.

Speaking at the event, BAPA President Mahbub Anam said, "The adoption of modern technology is essential for advancing Bangladesh’s agro-processing and food-processing sectors."

Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, chairman of the Expo Organising Committee and chief executive of PRAN-RFL Group, noted that current business uncertainties are prompting enterprises to build technological capabilities.

"BAPA FoodPro International Expo 2026 will enable companies to connect with the technologies, partners and industry insights they need," he said.

More than 100 expert speakers will participate in accompanying technical sessions, regional conferences, and seminars.
