Bengal Meat launches Bengal Fish
Bengal Meat has teamed up with WorldFish, an international fish research organization, and launched Bengal Fish to deliver fresh fish.
Bengal Fish and Worldfish will work together to ensure safe and nutritious fish, according to a press release issued by Bengal Meat today. "Bengal Fish is committed to delivering improved, nutritious and safe fish obtained from trained farmers through Worldfish research to the buyers," the statement read.
The collected fish is processed in Bengal Fish's own factory in Pabna without any preservatives while maintaining international standards, it added.
Bengal Fish has started its journey with freshwater Rohu, Katol, Bata, Shing, Gulsha, Black Tiger Prawn, Horina Shrimp, Red Snapper Fillet, Sea Bass Fillet and Basa Fillet.
Kutub Uddin Ahmed, chairman of Bengal Meat, and Christopher Price, regional director for South Asia of Worldfish, signed a deal in this regard at Bengal Meat's head office at Tejgaon in the capital on October 21.
