The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has launched a new official website as part of its efforts to modernise and upgrade its online services.

The new website, sec.gov.bd, was launched today, according to a press release issued by the capital market regulator.

The initiative was undertaken to make information and services related to the capital market more accessible to investors, market participants and the general public.

The new website will allow users to easily access BSEC’s laws and regulations, enforcement actions, press releases, tender notices, important office orders, lists of registered stakeholders, and prospectuses of initial public offerings and repeat public offerings, among other information.

It will also provide details of various services offered by the commission and the procedures for obtaining those services.

According to the BSEC, the website has been developed in line with the modern websites of securities market regulators around the world.

It incorporates advanced cybersecurity measures, a modern and user-friendly interface, and facilities for easy access to information and services.

The commission’s previous website was scheduled to cease operations following the launch of the new platform.

Users can also submit their comments, suggestions and feedback regarding the website through the new site.
