Pan Pacific Sonargaon to host Thai Gourmet Gala Vol 3 from July 23-25

Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka, in collaboration with the Commercial Wing of the Royal Thai Embassy in Bangladesh, will host the third edition of its signature culinary festival, “Thai Gourmet Gala”, at Café Bazar Restaurant in the capital.

The annual festival, scheduled to run from July 23 to 25, 2026, will coincide with the Top Thai Brands Trade Exhibition at the hotel, offering guests an opportunity to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine while experiencing Thailand’s premium products, rich heritage and vibrant culture.

Thitiporn Chirasawadi, the Thai ambassador to Bangladesh, is expected to inaugurate the three-day event as the chief guest.

This year’s edition will feature the return of renowned Thai celebrity chef Kroongtana Nimnu from Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Known for promoting authentic Thai cuisine around the world, Chef Nimnu has earned international recognition and notably led the Thai culinary experience during the wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani, son of Indian business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, according to a press release.

Throughout the festival, guests will be able to enjoy an extensive selection of authentic Thai buffet lunches, brunches and dinners showcasing the rich and diverse flavours of Thailand.

Diners will also be able to avail themselves of bank card offers of up to “Dine 4, Pay 1”, making the dining experience more rewarding.

In addition to its culinary offerings, Thai Gourmet Gala Vol 3 will feature live Thai folk dance performances, raffle draws, complimentary swimming pool access with the buffet brunch, and a “Make Your Own Pizza” activity for children.
