BRAC Bank opens Tejgaon principal branch

BRAC Bank PLC has strengthened its presence in Dhaka with the inauguration of its new Tejgaon principal branch at Shanta Pinnacle on the Tejgaon-Gulshan Link Road in the capital.

Located in the country’s first 40-storey commercial skyscraper, the branch offers a premium banking experience with digital banking solutions.

The solutions include Bangladesh’s first digital clearing cheque kiosk integrated with the Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH), a premium banking lounge, a queue management system, and a dedicated digital corner.

Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, managing director and CEO of the bank, inaugurated the branch on Sunday, according to a press release.

Speaking at the inauguration, Tareq said, “We are expanding our branch network to bring convenient, customer-centric banking closer to our customers. By combining a strong physical presence with advanced digital capabilities, we aim to deliver a superior banking experience.”

Situated in one of the city’s key commercial hubs, the branch reflects the bank’s commitment to delivering world-class, customer-centric banking services, the release added.

With 315 branches and sub-branches nationwide, BRAC Bank continues to expand its footprint, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, convenience, and service excellence.

M Anisul Haque, executive director of group finance at Shanta Holdings; Masud Rana, additional managing director; Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque, deputy managing director and head of the branch distribution network; and Taher Hasan Al Mamun, senior zonal head, along with senior officials from the bank and Shanta Holdings, were also present.
