Rupali Bank conducts 40th AGM

Rupali Bank PLC on Sunday held its 40th annual general meeting (AGM) at its head office in Dilkusha, Dhaka.

Md Nazrul Huda, chairman of the bank, presided over the meeting as the chief guest, according to a press release.

Representing the government, Kamrul Haque Maruf, joint secretary of the Financial Institutions Division under the Ministry of Finance, attended the meeting.

Kazi Md Wahidul Islam, managing director of the bank, delivered the welcome address, while AHM Moin Uddin, a director, also addressed the meeting.

A large number of shareholders from across the country participated in the AGM virtually. They approved the bank’s audited financial statements for 2025, along with the other agenda items placed before the meeting.

Mohammed Shahedur Rahman, company secretary of the bank, conducted the meeting.

Among others, Md Abu Yusuf Mia, ABM Shawkat Iqbal Shaheen and Saiful Islam, directors, as well as Tahmina Akhter, Hasan Tanvir and Md Harunur Rashid, deputy managing directors, were also present.
