The conference is scheduled to take place from November 19 to 21, 2026, according to a press release.

The announcement was made during the closing session of the IAUP Semi-Annual Meeting 2026 at Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Daffodil International University Chairman Md Sabur Khan attended the event as a speaker and treasurer-elect of the International Association of University Presidents.
He also received the symbolic conference crest on behalf of Bangladesh.
Md Sabur Khan said, “This conference brings together university leaders and academics from across the world. Hosting it in Bangladesh is a great honour for us and will further elevate the country’s higher education on the global stage.”
He added, “Such international platforms help position Bangladesh as an emerging hub for education, innovation and academic leadership.”
The International Association of University Presidents is an international organisation representing university leaders and promoting cooperation in higher education.
DIU said hosting the conference is expected to strengthen Bangladesh’s role in global academic dialogue and enhance the university’s international engagement.
