DUCSU, Skill Jobs to hold Youth Employability Summit 2026
Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) and Skill Jobs will jointly organise the “Youth Employability Summit 2026” at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of Dhaka University on May 16.
The summit will be held under the theme “Skill is the Future”, according to a press release.
Organisers said the day-long programme aims to connect students and young professionals with corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, human resources experts and policymakers.
The event will include keynote sessions, masterclasses, TEDx-style talks, panel discussions, networking opportunities, mock interview support, CV collection and entertainment segments.

Expected speakers include Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor A B M Obaidul Islam, Daffodil Group Chairman Md Sabur Khan, former Meghna Group FMCG and Akij Ventures chief executive officer Syed Alamgir, Global Center of Excellence founder Quazi M Ahmed and Nijer Bolar Moto Ekta Golpo Foundation founder Iqbal Bahar Zahid.
Organisers said the summit will focus on future skills, leadership development, career readiness, artificial intelligence and human skills integration, entrepreneurship, personal branding and financial management.
Around 400 selected participants are expected to attend the programme through a Career Excellence Pass, which will provide access to sessions, networking activities and career support services.
The organisers said the initiative aims to prepare young people for future employment opportunities through practical learning and industry engagement.
The programme will begin at 10:00am and continue until the evening.
