ISD alumni share experiences at Entrepreneurial Summit
International School Dhaka (ISD) organised the ISD Alumni Entrepreneurial Summit 2026, bringing together former students involved in business and entrepreneurship.
The event, titled “From ISD to Industry – Lessons from the Entrepreneurial Frontline,” featured discussions on entrepreneurship, brand building and professional networking, according to a press release.
The session was moderated by Faresta Ali Mallick, corporate relations representative at ISD.
Panelists included Waiz Rahim, venture partner at Sturgeon Capital and chief executive officer of Rahimoto Express; Namit Kabir, co-founder of Amlin Skin and Yinderful; Mehran Kabir, co-founder of Amlin Skin and Latitude23 Inc; Alisha Labiba Rahman, founder of Bare and Bloom Bangladesh Ltd; Mariha Quader Chowdhury, founder and chief executive officer of Emerald Events; and Nafis Jalil, project engineer at Ardaman & Associates.
The speakers discussed challenges and experiences related to entrepreneurship and business growth.
Steve Calland-Scoble, director of ISD, said, “This summit highlights the strength of our community. We now have an alumni network of more than 700 individuals who have gone on to attend university in 15 countries. Bringing their diverse industry expertise back for these candid discussions is invaluable for the future of our school.”
