Uttara Motors launches Bajaj Pulsar N160 Single Seat motorcycle
Uttara Motors Ltd., the sole distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Bangladesh, has launched the new Bajaj Pulsar N160 Single Seat motorcycle in Dhaka.
The motorcycle was unveiled at Pulsar Studio at Uttara Centre on Eskaton Road, according to a press release.
The new Pulsar N160 Single Seat is powered by a 164.82cc air-cooled fuel injection engine producing 16 PS of power and 14.65 Nm torque.
The motorcycle includes features such as single-channel ABS, a 130-section rear tubeless tyre, adjustable monoshock suspension, LED lighting, USB charging port and a digital console with Bluetooth connectivity.
The launch ceremony was attended by Uttara Motors Chairman and Managing Director Matiur Rahman as chief guest.
Among others present were Bajaj Auto India Country Business Head Anurag Gaurav, Uttara Motors Director (Finance and Admin) Humayun Kabir and Chief Operating Officer of the Bajaj Division A M Sazzad Hossain.
Speaking at the event, Matiur Rahman said, “Pulsar has always been at the heart of sports motorcycling in Bangladesh. We are delighted to introduce the new Pulsar N160 Single Seat, which perfectly combines sporty performance, modern technology, and stylish design.”
He also urged riders to use standard helmets and maintain road safety.
Anurag Gaurav said, “Following the success of the N160 in Bangladesh, we received feedback from customers to introduce a single-seat version suitable for family riders as well.”
Uttara Motors said it currently manufactures Bajaj motorcycles at its factory in Savar, which has an annual production capacity of 300,000 units.
