Workshops and AI panel mark third day of BUBT Research Week 2026

The third day of BUBT Research Week 2026 featured a series of research-focused workshops and an AI-based panel discussion at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology.

The programme was organised by the BUBT Research Graduate School to promote research, innovation and industry-linked knowledge sharing, says a press release.

Five specialised workshops were held during the day, covering research publication in English studies, artificial intelligence in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, legal research methodology, business analytics and research frameworks in economics.

The workshop on advancing research publications in English studies focused on journal selection, manuscript improvement and current publication trends. Another session examined AI-driven quality, reliability and safety in industry, highlighting practical applications and research potential.

Legal research methodology, business analytics and economic research direction were also discussed, with speakers outlining tools, ethical practices, data analysis techniques and real-world applications relevant to their fields.

Following the workshops, a panel discussion titled Application of AI Tools in Industry and Academia was held, chaired by the vice-chancellor of BUBT and moderated by the dean of the BUBT Research Graduate School.

Panelists discussed the need to strengthen collaboration between industry and academia, link research with real-world applications and explore future opportunities in AI-based research.

Faculty members, researchers, students and industry representatives attended the sessions, which were held at the university’s international conference hall.
