The Debating Forum of the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) wrapped up the 20th BDC-IUBAT Pre Worlds Debate Competition, held in collaboration with the Bangladesh Debating Council (BDC). The event took place from October 12 to 14 at the IUBAT campus.

Pharma Science Club (PSC) from the Department of Pharmacy, University of Asia Pacific (UAP) organised “Pharma Carnival 2023” on October 10.

Tamanna, a 17-year-old student from JAAGO Foundation School, has secured a fully-funded scholarship at United World College (UWC) in Dilijan, Armenia. The scholarship was facilitated through the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organised the Fall 2023 CSE Freshers' Orientation on October 5 at the ULAB Permanent Campus. Russell T. Ahmed, the President of the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

North South University's (NSU) Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (CSE) has soared to new heights by making a splash in the prestigious NASA SPACE APPS CHALLENGES 2023. This marks a watershed moment for NSU as the challenge is a globally recognised hackathon spearheaded by NASA itself.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Startup Day Bangladesh 2023 was organised for the first time in Bangladesh on October 5. The day-long programme taught hands-on how to transform a startup design into a billion-dollar company using the AWS platform.

Hundreds of students and parents are expected to participate at the second edition of the Bangladesh Education Forum 2023 that will be held at the Crowne Plaza, Deira, Dubai from October 14-15. It is the only international education roadshow for 163 Bangladeshi universities and 115 medical colleges where more than 14,000 foreign students and 4.6 million Bangladeshi students study in under-graduate and graduate programs. 

The seminar was titled "Uncovering Truth in a Digital Age: Navigating the New Frontier of Journalism – A Gender Perspective."

The event was held on October 9 at the UAP auditorium.

The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) of American International University-Bangladesh, organised Anwarul Abedin Lecture Series on “A Journey towards Smart Bangladesh: An Initiative of Bangladesh Government (LGRD)" on October 1 for the faculty members and students of AIUB.

The day-long program was structured in three parts.

Deshi Ballers, pioneers in promoting women’s basketball in Bangladesh, marked an exhilarating milestone as they celebrated their fifth year in action at the "5 Year Legacy Hoopfest Powered by IUB" held on September 29 and 30. The event, hosted at the renovated Sports Complex of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) in Bashundhara Residential Area in Dhaka, showcased an adrenaline-fueled basketball weekend that captivated enthusiasts and spectators alike.

This year, THE included nine Bangladeshi universities in the ranking.

The logo of the "ISU World Cup Genius" quiz competition, organised by International Standard University (ISU) for students of classes eleven and twelve, was unveiled today. ISU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Abdul Awal Khan unveiled the logo.

The United World College (UWC) National Committee of Bangladesh observed “UWC DAY” on the 21st of September to celebrate 60 years of educating for peace.
