Fire at Dhaka int’l trade fair

A fire broke out at Dhaka International Trade Fair this evening.

Nine units of firefighters brought the fire under control around half an hour of its origination around 7:10pm, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters told The Daily Star.

Jane Alam Munshi, officer-in-charge (OC) of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station, said the fire was originated from the Frutika Stall.

There reason of fire, casualties and damage could not be known immediately, added the OC.
