18 BNP men sued for torching Jhalakathi land office

Eighteen leaders and activists of BNP were sued over torching a local land office in Sadar upazila of Jhalakathi on Thursday.
Badal Khalifa, sub-inspector of Jhalakathi Sadar Police Station, filed the case.
Meanwhile, police arrested Wares Ali Khan, chairman of Ponabalia union; his son Anisur Rahman Khan, and two UP members -- Helal Mallick and Shawkat Ali Badal in this connection.
