2 burnt in AC compressor explosion

Two people were injured as a compressor of an air conditioner exploded due to electric short circuit at a CNG filling station in Pahartali area of Chittagong city yesterday.

Anjan Kanti Ghosh, with 45 percent burn injury and Shahahajalal, with 30 percent are undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College Hospital.

They were working inside the control room of Speedtech CNG Filling Station as engineer, said its manager.
