3 abducted children rescued from BRTC bus in Rajshahi

Three abducted children were rescued from a BRTC bus in Alupatty area of Rajshahi city on Tuesday night.

Dalim, 12, Anannya, 5, and Laboni, 7, of Nagarkanda in Faridpur, were abducted from the district on Monday.

Assistant Commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Shusanto Chandra Roy said some unidentified youths in Faridpur forced the bus staff to take the kids and drop them to Shalbagan area of Rajshahi.

As the trio started crying, some passengers of the bus informed police.  Later, police rescued them, Shusanto added.
