5yr old boy dies hit by pick-up

Six people were killed and three others injured in road accidents in three districts yesterday.

In the capital, Ratul, 5, son of Monir Hossain was killed when a pickup hit him while he was playing on the road in Gulbagh area.

In Khilgaon, bus driver Faysal Sheikh, 32, was killed when a bus hit him when he was getting down from his bus.

In Jatrabari, Foyaz, 45, a resident of South Jatrabari was killed as a bus hit him when he was crossing the road.

In Chittagong, Humayun Kabir, 30, of Fatikchhari upazila was killed and three others were injured when a truck and a CMG-run auto-rickshaw collided head-on in Munshi Masjid area of Hathazari upazila.

In Sylhet, two people were killed as a truck fell into a roadside ditch near Sylhet-Fenchuganj road in Khilpara area of Fenchuganj upazila.

The deceased were Saiful Islam, 20, and Aslam Mia, 25, of Netrokona.
