Academic activities of honours courses at Cuet to resume May 3

The academic activities of the Honours courses at the Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (Cuet) will resume on May 3.

Residential halls of the university will open on May 2, said Fazlur Rahman, assistant director (public relations), Cuet.

The authorities of Cuet suspended the academic activities of Honours for an indefinite period on April 7 following students' agitations.

The agitators claimed that Student Welfare Director Prof Ashutose Saha harassed them at a human chain which was formed after a Cuet student died in a road accident.
