Arrest sought of BCL activists who assaulted Ctg journos

Chittagong Television Journalists Association yesterday demanded immediate arrest of the Bangladesh Chhatra League activists who assaulted eight journalists covering an Awami League-led 14-party rally at Laldighi Maidan in the city on Wednesday.

The demand was placed at a human chain in front of Chittagong Press Club in the morning.

Leaders of the association also threatened to wage tougher movement if the perpetrators are not arrested.
