Ashrafun-nesa no more

Ashrafun-nesa Shiri, mother of The Daily Star Rajshahi Staff Correspondent Anwar Ali Himu, passed away at Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital yesterday morning. She was 80.

Ashrafun-nesa Shiri, wife of late Ishaq Ali from Kanaikhali area in Natore town, left behind four sons and a host of relatives to mourn her death.

She was buried at Garikhana central graveyard after Asr prayers yesterday.
