Bangladesh makes progress in workers' safety: US envoy

There has been significant progress in Bangladesh's readymade garment sector's capacity building over the last two and a half years but some more tasks need to be done, said US Ambassador in Dhaka Marcia Bernicat yesterday.

"Especially, there has been much progress in terms of workers' safety, but more needs to be done," she said while addressing a function in Gazipur's Signboard area, arranged by East West Industrial Park.
