Boy dies in knife accident

A nine-year old boy bled to death after he accidentally fell on a kitchen knife in the capital's Kadamtoli area yesterday.
Samir Hossain, son of Mohammad Hossain who hailed from Bhola, lived at Mohammadbagh of Kadamtoli. Samir's elder brother Yamin Hossain was working inside their house with a kitchen knife when Samir fell on the knife accidentally and some parts of his right thigh got cut. The victim died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. DMCH sources said he died from excessive bleeding.
