Chevron gives scholarships to students in Sylhet region

Financially disadvantaged and meritorious students in Habiganj, Sylhet and Moulvibazar have been awarded scholarships by Chevron Bangladesh as a part of its ongoing yearly scholarship distribution programme.

A total of 1,668 students from 41 educational institutions near Chevron's Bibiyana, Jalalabad and Moulavibazar natural gas fields were given stipends this year, says a press release.

After Ramadan, scholarships will also be distributed among 49 students who achieved excellent grades in the recent SSC examinations.
