Ctg BNP man confesses to arson attack on vehicle

A local BNP activist on Wednesday confessed to hurling a petrol bomb at a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Chariya in Hathazari upazila of Chittagong on March 4, killing two people.
Emran Hossain gave the confessional statement before the court of Chittagong Senior Judicial Magistrate Esrat Jahan Nasrin, court sources said.
Emran told the court that he and 12 others did so as per the instruction of local BNP leaders, said Md Salauddin Chowdhury, inspector (investigation) of Hathazari Police Station.
