Death anniversary

Today is the 12th death anniversary of Barrister Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed, former adviser to a caretaker government, says a press release.
On the occasion, Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Smriti Parishad will place wreaths and offer fateha at his Banani grave in Dhaka, and hold a milad mahfil at an orphanage.
Barrister Ishtiaq, a former attorney general, had been an adviser to the caretaker governments in 1996 and 2001.
