Death anniversary

Today is the 20th death anniversary of AKM Anisul Islam, former general secretary of the Bangladesh Association of Consulting Engineers; and founder managing director of Bangladesh Survey Organisation Ltd.

A Qurankhwani and a doa mahfil will be held, says a press release. A columnist, Anis was also president of Rotary Club of Dhaka, Maitry Samity, and Pabna Welfare Trust. He authored nine literary books.
