Death anniversary

Today is the third death anniversary of Prof Fazlul Quader Chowdhury.

Fazlul taught economics at City College, Chittagong Commerce College and Chittagong College and served as the principal of Chittagong City College, the Government Science College in Dhaka and Jagannath University College.

He authored the book "Economic Development of Bangladesh" which is being read at the degree level while its Bangla version is being read at HSC level.

In 1995, he received the Best Teacher Award from the government.

He left behind his wife Prof Rokeya Begum, one son, two daughters and three grandchildren.
