Death anniversary

Today is the 4th death anniversary of Awami League leader Abdur Razzak, also one of the Liberation War organisers.

He was elected a member of the provincial assembly in 1970 and a member of the parliament in different times from Shariatpur-3 constituency. To mark the day, Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote will hold a discussion at Shilpakala Academy in Segunbagicha today, while Shariatpur Foundation will lay wreaths on his grave in the capital's Banani at 8:30am. A discussion following a doa mahfil will be held at 11:00am at Sheikh Kamal High School in Lalmatia. Shariatpur Awami League also chalked out programmes.
