Domestic help protection guideline sought

The government should immediately finalise and implement a draft domestic help protection and welfare guideline to protect children from repression and torture, speakers told a views-exchange meeting yesterday.

They also demanded that domestic service be included in the list of works, now 38, which the government identified as risky for children

The Action for Social Development (ASD) organised the meeting in the capital's Cirdap auditorium.
