Eight BNP activist sent to jail in Barisal again in arson case

A Barisal court yesterday sent eight leaders and activists of BNP Bakerganj upazila unit including a former lawmaker to jail after rejecting their bail prayers in a case filed for torching vehicles during hartal on January 26, 2015.

They are Abul Hosen Khan, former lawmaker of Barisal-6 constituency and president of the unit, and Abdul Kuddus, Nurul Islam, Siraz Sikdar, Jewel Talukdar, Shahjahan Khan, Shahin Sikdar and Mokbul Hosen Khan.
