Emirates Red Crescent raises $18m

A weeklong fundraising campaign launched by Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has raised nearly US $18 million (AED 65 million) to support Rohingyas in Bangladesh.

ERC launched the campaign as per directives of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, to provide over a million displaced refugees with food, medical assistance, clean water, education and housing, reported Gulf News.
