Environmental sciences dept boycotts classes at JU

The environmental sciences department of Jahangirnagar University boycotted classes and staged a sit-in on the campus yesterday demanding that their academic activities be transferred to a new building.
The department was supposed to move to that building a year ago, said speakers at the programme.
They threatened to continue the sit-in till tomorrow and observe a hunger strike from Tuesday if the demand is not met.
